About iDarts Gaming Software
iDarts v1.0 Program Summary
iDarts v1.0 is a dart program used in tandem with actual steel tip or soft tip darts and a dart board.
iDarts v1.0 can be used as a simple training aide, for challenging an opponent(s), and in tournament play it cannot be matched.
iDarts v1.0 is the only complete and professional dart software program that will work on your Mac or Windows with minimal system requirements.
Games/Options Included in iDarts v1.0
All '01 games can be played as singles, doubles or team matches.
Options include: Double In, Mugs Away (no double in), Dart Charts*, change the dart scored by player/team, during game play, during current shooter or past shooter.
*Incorporated into iDarts v1.0 is The American Darters Associations (ADA) official dart out chart; this is an option above that can be turn off or on.
The developers of iDarts v1.0 (November Gold Software) were brought this idea about the pro's and con's regarding incorporating the dart out chart in the program, and when the debate lingered on and on the final decision was to include it, but with the player's option to turn it on or off.
November Gold Software's developers asked a wide range of dart enthusiasts regarding implementing this feature and these were the two deciding factors:
1. Seasoned dart professionals/players believe that the dart out chart is part of the knowledge of the game and shouldn't be shown. You shouldn't be shown
what to throw at next; you should just know it.
2. Beginners/Intermediate dart players want to be able to play the game and would like to be shown what next to throw at.
But isn't darts about throwing the best possible set of darts to win the game? It isn't a game about having the best mathematical skills is it?
Basic premise is that it is something that should be an option to choose from and not always on.
With that being said, the developers decided to add one more option. One of which was to allow each player or team to decide what they would like to choose as there preferred double-out number, so when asked, you would enter your preferred "out," the dart out chart will incorporate your preference when it shows you what next to throw at, that way if you were to throw at all the shown darts you would end up throwing your last dart at your preferred "out." e.g. you would prefer to double out on 16, so you would enter as your preferred out at 32.
Again this is an option that can be turned off or on; it is the players choice.
All Cricket games can be played a singles, doubles or team matches.
Options include: changing marks and scores during game play or during current or past shooter.

- ability to change background color and texture for menu's and game.

iDarts v3.0 - Killer Cricket
Players: 2 - 6
Playing the game:
Player closest to the bull starts the game.
After everyone throws one dart at the board with their non-throwing hand, the number they hit is their number, even if it is a bull. If someone else should also hit that number, they will throw another dart. To become a killer each player has to hit their number that was thrown, three (3) times, every time that you throw your own number you receive a "killer dart", you become a killer once you have three (3) killer darts, now you want to knock the other players out of the game by hitting their number based on the options that were set above in the "killer must throw", each time you hit their number, they get a "red ex" and a "kill number", once a player has the number of kills based on the options that were set above in the "number of kills", they are out of the game.
"killer status" off by just hitting on your number as long as they are not a killer already.
Games options: are listed on the chalk board in "red" so you won't forget once the game has started.
Players names at the start of the game are "white" and will change to "green" when they have gotten one dart towards becoming a killer, and will change to "yellow" when they have gotten two darts towards becoming a killer, and will change to "red" when they have gotten the three darts and they have now become a killer.
iDarts v3.0 is both Mac and PC compatible.
Includes:
- ability to change background color and texture for menu's and game.
- ability to edit the darts thrown for the current shooter
- number of darts thrown by set and dart, the number of players that you have killed, the number of times you became killer, the number of times you were removed from being a killer.
Options for the game:
- Killer must throw: the actual dart that they threw, the single of the dart that they threw, the double of the dart that they threw or the triple of the dart that they threw.
- Number of kills: how many kills does it take to finally kill someone.
iDarts v4.0 - Golf
Players: 2 - 6
Like real golf, the objective is to complete each 'hole' with the lowest score possible. The player with the lowest score at the end of 18 holes wins.
Player closest to the bull starts the game.
Player's names (2-6 players) are written down the left side on the scoreboard, with the holes (1-18) written along the top. The first player begins the first hole by throwing for 1's. The thin outer "doubles" ring counts as a -2. The thin inner "triples" ring counts as -1. The thin wedge between the bulls eye and the triples ring counts as 0, and the thick wedge between the doubles and the triples ring counts also as 0. Missing the number entirely counts as +2, unless the dart lands in the number directly adjacent to the target number, which counts as +1.
Example: Player One begins the game by throwing a Triple One, a Single One (thin wedge), and a Triple Two, His score for each dart (-1, 0 and +1 respectively) adds up for a total of 0.
Once Player One is finished with his/her set, the remaining players play through the first hole in order. When play returns to the first player, the second hole is played and 2 is the new target number. The game continues as such until all 18 holes have been played.
As an added challenge, Golf can also be played with a customizable level of water hazards. Players can choose between four levels of hazards (None, Easy, Hard or Very Hard) which determines how many hazards will show up in a given game. These hazards will appear randomly as you are playing the game and will only reveal themselves once you arrive at certain holes. If hit, water hazards count as +2.
iDarts v4.0 is both Mac and PC compatible.
Includes:
- ability to change background color and texture for menu's and game.
- ability to edit the darts thrown for the current shooter
iDarts v6.0 - League
